BEST.....PAPERWEIGHT...EVER

I've wanted to make something out of the 4awg (1/5 inch diameter) copper wire they sell at home depot for quite a while now, so I finally caved and bought 10 feet ($1.28 a foot plus tax! ) and made this huge chunk of half-persian 4in1. The AR is somewhere around 4.75. I wound the wire around an almost 1 inch wide broomhandle to make the coil (a strenuous affair since I had to force the wire to move every step of the way) and then sawed the rings with a coping saw (much smaller kerf than the hacksaw and cleaner cuts too). Small adjustments in shape were made with a hammer and old rag to reduce marring.

A standard copper hp4-in-1 bracelet has been included for comparison. Made of 0.062 inch diameter wire wound on a 5/16 mandrel, then cut with coping saw.
