This is what I've been working on the past few days...*pant, pant*...But now it's done, so enjoy!
This is a 15" choker of Half Persian 3-in-1 Sheet 6 with Sodalite beads. The wire is a clear-enamelled copper and the closest match I could find for a clasp was a gold plated tube clasp (The colors are quite similar).
The stats:
18 awg Clear EC
7/32" mandrel
Upwards of 750 rings
Weight: 3.9oz
Matching bracelet and probably earrings to follow.
I had been looking for the piece that inspired the split band and "trapped" stone, and it took me a while to find, but here it is [link] Thank you for the inspiration !
Dang, I can't believe I haven't replied here yet. Anyhow...
That is absolutely mind bogling mate! You used the lovely HP sheet 6 in a beautiful way, and I think this is one of the best non-flat weave twists that I have seen. And the stone choice! It is very lovely and not overdone in the amount of stones. I cannot wait to see the bracelet and earings set should you do them.
Thank you. I am something of a metals purist...I'd almost rather do pieces in nothing but metal with a central cab, but I'll put in stones where they fit nicely. The local Michaels is still out of this wire...I don't know when they will be restocking, but I expect the bracelet to be a thinner version of the central band and I am not too sure what to do for the earrings yet

I'll sell my chainmaille bracelets, necklaces and earrings on Etsy soon! ^^
